You don't have to sacrifice effectiveness to have an environmentally responsible fire retardant. Buckman's Flamebloc GS series and Flamebloc Foam Protect of fire retardants are formulated to provide outstanding protection for today's natural and synthetic products. Their innovative mix of unique chemistries, including amino functional ammonium polyphosphate, are clear, water-based, and contain little or no VOC. Best of all, they do not require a halogen donor to provide intumescing and char-forming substrate protection. There are many options, too, to help you meet the various standards and specifications required by your industry. Flamebloc Foam Protect is an intumescent coating certified CAN/ULC S-124-06. Easy to apply on Sprayed Polyurethane Foam, it offers a nice, clean glossy white finish and superior protection.
